If you have the stomach for it, try BLOOD MERIDIAN. It is wrenching, but if you read it as you would view Hieronymus Bosch&#039;s &quot;The Garden of Earthly Delights,&quot; seeing the hideous as poetical visions, there are few books more rewarding.</description>
